Project Cancellations & #Bored4Pride
Hey folks! First things first…
Each story has to be told from a point of view-
I want to extend my utmost gratitude and appreciation to everyone who participated in #Bored4Pride this year. The streamers, donators, viewers, friends and family who all made it possible.
I also want to give some well deserved hefty props and applause to Softie and amphibitoad for having such generous viewers and bringing in such a significant portion of donations for charity.
A massive thanks goes to all the Bored Chaps that are always there come hell or high water such as Ashttro, thatgrassboi, Samuelis, AlexJC, Reece and so many others that I don’t have time to mention.
It’s been a pleasure meeting new folks like WithMayX and horryhost- who although new to our little community brought so much enthusiasm right out of the gate.
So much love goes out to everyone in our community and everyone who joins us on this journey every year and especially this year. And a ginormous thanks to 404 Hosting who made the Minecraft stuff somehow still possible.
But it’s not all glitz and glamour.
We had several more events such as an Among Us Championship and a Desert Bus marathon all planned to support #Bored4Pride later this month. However- just before June we had a pretty major sponsor dropout and so we lost a lot of funding. We even contemplated cancelling the 3rd & 4th of June event but soldiered through for the greater good. Everything thus far has been paid out of pocket by LordWongy with some support from 404 Hosting/Reece which unfortunately accrued a few hundred in debt for us personally. But as we face the rest of the events, it’s simply not realistic for us to continue with them.
This doesn’t mean the #Bored4Pride fundraiser is over. The Tiltify donation page is still active and will be throughout June and we’ll still be doing smaller things to gain support for charity. If you opt to keep fundraising, supporting, or even hosting your own events for charity in the name of #Bored4Pride we’ll support you with our full force and passion! And to everyone who’s still promoting the charity links on their livestreams and videos we love you so much 💖 Across the past three years we’ve managed to raise over $2,700 for Mermaids UK, a charity that supports young gender-diverse people and their families! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

At somepoint- hopefully later this year we’ll pick up both the Among Us Championship and Desert Bus to be completed. But for now, those ideas are going into hibernation.
As for myself-
in the meantime I’m focusing on improving the Bored Chaps and 404 Hosting.
